Asked about security issues, the Trump Organization said in a statement it has “extensive protocols in place at our Trump-owned and -managed properties” in the United States and abroad.
Buildings around the world with President Donald Trump’s name are now facing an increased threat of terrorism with him in the White House, security experts warn. This is especially true with a number of these structures being located in areas currently or previously targeted by violence.
While U.S. brands have been targeted in overseas violence before, they never belonged to a president in business as a landlord. And while Trump has said in the past that he will put his business assets in a trust (possibly removing any threat) and hand over management control of his company, he has since reneged on that promise and will maintain ownership of his properties.
The U.S. intelligence community already has a duty to warn American citizens and others if it uncovers information about impending threats, which would include Trump’s businesses.
Are President Trumps businesses under threat of attack ? Will this make people think twice about going to his Hotels and Resort Golf Courses ?
